FAQs

What is Zero Waste?

Zero Waste is a philosophy that promotes the reduction in the generation of waste and unnecessary garbage.

Any container that can be refilled: bags, tuppers, glass jars, detergent bottles... All we ask is that it be clean and dry 🙂

No. Although we have many organic products, an organic product does not necessarily have less impact on the environment than one of conventional agriculture and therefore when choosing our products, we also consider other factors such as proximity or transparency of the supplier.

Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 am to 20:00 pm

Saturday from 10:00 am to 14:00 pm

Monday & Sunday we are CLOSED 🙂

We reuse all the boxes and materials of our suppliers (you can get a deodorant in a box of pasta, do not be surprised). In addition, we use scraps of label paper, newsprint or magazines to cushion. Finally, we close them with kraft paper adhesive tape, which is 100% recyclable.

None of the liquids are on the web because in order to send them we would have to pack them and therefore generate waste. This goes against the philosophy of LESS, so we prefer to have them only available in the physical store and you can refill your own packaging.

Not yet. As we are islands, almost all our products come from outside. We believe that it is counterproductive, at an environmental level, to send the product back to the Peninsula when there are many more similar initiatives that make that service.

You can contact us at hola@less-tenerife.com, with all the information about it. Remember that it must be related to some of the lines of work of LESS (food, self-sufficiency, sustainability, zero waste...)
